Canine Therapeutic massage is the manipulation of muscles and skin to promote increased circulation to all the organs and tissues in the animals’ body. It is a powerful tool to improve the physical, emotional and mental health of your pet.

Therapeutic massage increases blood and lymph fluid circulation in the body, aiding in the elimination of toxins, boosting the immune system, speeding up metabolism and beautifying the coat and skin.  It reduces pain and soreness, relieves tension, improves structural balance, increases flexibility and shortens recovery times from injuries and surgeries.  It relieves stress and anxiety and can lead to an improved emotional outlook for your animal.

Acupressure is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) just like Acupuncture, Acupuncture uses needles and Acupressure uses fingertip pressure to stimulate Acupoints on energy pathways called meridians to balance Qi (life force energy) in the body.  According to TCM, when yin and yang in the body are balanced, Qi and blood flow smoothly in the meridians.  In this balanced state, the body stays healthy.  When imbalances occur due to stress, unhealthy diet, not enough exercises and various other reasons, it leads to illness and emotional issues.  Acupuncture and Acupressure are both used to balance Qi to heal the body, the mind and the spirit to achieve optimal health.
